To improve the drought resistance of dryland wheat, the effects of different amount of water retaining agent on chlorophyll content (SPAD), net Photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), intercellular CO2 Concentration (Ci) and Transpiration rate (Tr) of dryland wheat were studied with Jimai 22 as experimental material. The results showed that, under conditions of this experiment, when the amount of water retaining agent was in range of 0-1 kg•667 m-2, with the increase in the amount of water retaining agent, the chlorophyll content (SPAD), net Photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs) and Transpiration rate (Tr) in dryland wheat increased and the intercellular CO2 Concentration (Ci) decreased; while the amount of retaining agent was in range of 1-2 kg•667 m-2, with the increase in the amount of retaining agent, chlorophyll content (SPAD), net Photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs) and Transpiration rate (Tr) of dryland wheat decreased and intercellular CO2-2.
Key words: Chlorophyll content (SPAD), dryland wheat, intercellular CO2 Concentration (Ci), net Photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), , Transpiration rate (Tr),
