With the development of the “Internet of Things” industry, there is a vast potential for future application on the smart home system. The study introduces a smart home system, which consists of sensory level based on the sensor, wireless network level based on the technology of ZigBee and the application level used on the human-computer interaction. The experiments show that the ZigBee wireless network has a good performance and the whole system comes up to expectation.
