Abstract:

Mash-ups are Web. 20 applications that reuse data and services available on the web and combine them to form new applications, Mash-ups considered as recent phenomenons which are web-based applications for interactive, real-time data visualization. In this paper is the literature of the topic which identify different type of tool used in mash-up development and work done in this field, in addition to that, a comprehensive methodology and framework used in this research is included. Key successes, as well as challenges, relating to the potential and application of mash-up technology in Higher Education (HE) is highlighted as we also brought a typical mash-up architecture which is compromise of three key components. This work is a guide for both researchers and HE users for mash-ups development.
