Abstract:

A parallel system of two components is subjected to a sequence of shocks causing damage to both the components of the system. The maximum likelihood estimator and Bayes estim ator of reliability function are obtained under non-accumulating damage shock model setup. The computation of estimators and their comparison is also considered.
