Abstract:

In this study, the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitroplskii (KBM) method has been extended for obtaining the solution of fourth order damped-oscillatory nonlinear systems. The method is illustrated by an example. The results obtained by the presented technique agree nicely with the results (considered as exact solution) obtained by the numerical method.
