Abstract

Based on embedded technology and image processing technology, the study presents a memory minimizes algorithm, named as IBRA. Measurement of plant leaf area is an important parameter in the modern precision agriculture. How to fast, accurately, low-costly measure the leaf area, is a long-term project to be researched. A new measuring instrument of leaf area with low-cost and portable has been developed. It is a high-accuracy, portable measuring instruments for plant leaf area measurement.
