Studying of genetic relationships among Triticum L. and Aegilops L. species by using Cleaved
Amplified Polymorphic Sequence (CAPS) to investigate the polymorphism in chloroplast DNA (cpDNA)
among 20 Aegilops L. and 7 Triticum L. species and one accession of Amblyopyrum muticum. 23 chloroplast
regions were amplified then Restriction digests were performed on PCR amplicons instructions using 72 singlecut
Endonucleases. The rseults indicate that there are 16 accessions from Triticum and Aegilops species have
positive and unique restriction profiles in 5 loci. Inaddition 11 accessions from Aegilops and one accession of
Amblyopyrum muticum have identical restriction profiles in all loci.
