Research on a General Model for Spare Products Food Consumption Forecasting

Abstract
This study establishes a general model of spares products food consumption forecasting based on various marketing strategies. Considering two marketing strategies of components called "non-replacement" and "condition based replacement" applied to inspection and three marketing strategies of components called "non-replacement", "certain replacement" and "condition based replacement" applied to regular marketing, on the basis of analyzing four factors which include components lives, remaining lives of components, the age of the product and next year’s operation time, At last, an example is taken to illustrate the applicability of the general model. The general model provides a scientific basis for choosing spares storage amount reasonably.
