Abstract

In this study, particle swarm optimization algorithm is developed under the inspiration of behavior laws of bird flocks, fish schools and human communities and it is high convergence speed. Moreover, aim at the disadvantages of traditional genetic algorithm, we proposes a new algorithm based on particle swarm optimization algorithm, the new algorithm keeps not only the fast convergence speed characteristic of PSO, but effectively improves the capability of global searching as well. The experiment results showed this new algorithm is effective for relay optimization design.
